- ATRA has been actively engaged with the Alberta Government since 2010 on the pursuit of regulation.
- ATRA continues to explore potential partnerships with existing regulated colleges, while also pursuing regulation independently.
- ATRA has met with the Minister of Health and other prominent Government of Alberta stakeholders.
- The Regulation Committee continues to connect with government officials to advocate for the profession of Recreation Therapy.
- ATRA is currently working with Global Public Affairs, a Government Relations and Strategic Communications Firm.
